WORKOUTS

  • Monday 9/12 – PT 
  • Tuesday 9/13 – 5 miles @ 10:31 pace + Toned Arms
  • Wednesday 9/14 – Toned Arms
  • Thursday 9/15 – 3.2 miles @ 11:48 pace – This looks slow, but I actually did 0.25 mile sprints.  So, I started slowly jogging for 1/4 mile, then sprinted 1/4 mile, then jog/walked, and so on.  I also wrote down my sprint splits which were way faster than I ever imagined I could run (6.58, 6:40, 7:03, 6:43, 7:02, 7:04).  Thus, I technically ran 1.5 miles at around a 6:55 pace.  I almost gave up after the 4th sprint.  My legs are jello.
  • Friday 9/16 -Bootcamp – This was a pretty poor showing for me at bootcamp.  I don’t know if it was the speed work yesterday, or the fact that it’s Friday, or that I’m run down from wedding and job stress, but I felt completely burnt out.

GOALS

2 weeks til the wedding.  8 weeks until a half marathon I think I’m signing up for.  Maybe.  Probably.  But I don’t wanna be training on my honeymoon…but I like a challenge, so…
